Last week, our office hosted our very first Senior Resource Fair, where representatives of various organizations and agencies at the city, state, and federal level provided NW side seniors with resources on long-term care, food assistance, senior programming, and much more. We saw over 140 seniors participate in our tabling and three live sessions, with one resident learning he has almost $130,000 in unclaimed property at the Treasurer’s office! We had such a blast, and we’re so excited to put on another fair in the future.
